SUMMARY:MLK Jr High School Gardens Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:Join Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) in creating and maintaining the pollinator gardens at MLK Jr. High School. \nWhat to wear/bring: Volunteers are asked to wear lightweight long sleeves and closed-toed shoes. We will have gloves and hand tools on site\, but feel free to bring your own supplies. Please bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the event. \nWhat to expect: Please check in at the volunteer table to sign a liability waiver. Following the opening remarks\, TEC staff will provide training on pollinator garden maintenance. \nParking: If driving\, please park in the lot next to the Watkins Community Center across from the entrance of MLK Jr. High School.
