Give a living tribute that grows for generations.

Trees are more than beautiful additions to our communities. They provide shade, clean our air and water, support wildlife, store carbon, and create healthier places for people and nature. Through Tennessee Environmental Council’s Tribute Tree Program, you can plant a living legacy in honor or memory of someone special, or celebrate a meaningful moment with a gift that gives back to Tennessee. Your gift helps TEC plant and care for native trees at restoration sites, schools, parks, and other community spaces across Tennessee.

Why Gift a Tribute Tree?

  • Honor Someone Special

Celebrate a loved one, friend, teacher, mentor, colleague, or family member with a living tribute that will grow for generations.

  • Celebrate a Milestone

Mark a birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation, retirement, or other meaningful occasion with a gift that keeps growing.

  • Create a Lasting Legacy

A tree changes with the seasons and becomes part of the landscape for years to come -creating a lasting reminder of someone or something special.

  • Give Back to Tennessee

Your gift supports the planting of native trees that provide wildlife habitat, protect waterways, reduce erosion, store carbon, and strengthen Tennessee communities.
